Terms of Service
Last updated 23 October 2026
1. Who we are and these terms
SimBazaar is operated by Simbazaar (CAC RC391045), No 2 Ayodele Fanoiki Street ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service form a contract between you and us when you create an account or use SimBazaar, its website or its API (the "Service").
They work together with our Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy. If they conflict, these Terms apply, except that the Privacy Policy governs how we handle personal data.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- Give accurate details and keep them current. One person or business, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys until you tell us they have been compromised, so reset them and contact us straight away if they are.
- We may ask you to verify your identity before you use certain products (for example RMM seats or some eSIMs) or when we see unusual activity. We may limit the account until verification is complete.
3. Your wallet
- Everything on SimBazaar is paid from a prepaid wallet held in Nigerian naira. You top it up through our payment partners (currently Paystack, Flutterwave and, for cryptocurrency, NOWPayments). A top-up counts only once the payment partner confirms it to us; a success page alone is not confirmation.
- Your wallet is a prepaid balance for buying from SimBazaar. It is not a bank account, savings or deposit account, earns no interest, and cannot be transferred to another user.
- When you pay in cryptocurrency, the payment partner converts it and we credit the naira amount shown at checkout. We do not buy, sell, hold or exchange cryptocurrency for you.
- When you buy something, its price is first held in your wallet and is charged only when the item is delivered (a code arrives, an eSIM is issued, or a setup is completed). Held money cannot be spent elsewhere until the order finishes.
- If you close your account, you can ask us to return any unspent balance that came from your own deposits to a Nigerian bank account in your name, after identity checks and less any transfer fees charged by banks or payment partners.
- A chargeback or payment reversal on a top-up you have already spent is a debt to us. We may recover it from your wallet and suspend the account while it is resolved.
- Referral rewards. When someone signs up with your referral link or code, you earn the share shown on your Refer & earn page of each of their purchases that completes, for the period shown there. Rewards are added to your wallet to spend on SimBazaar. You can also ask to withdraw rewards once they are older than the waiting period shown on that page, above the minimum shown there, to a Nigerian bank account in your own name; we check each withdrawal before paying it and may decline one we have reason to think is linked to abuse, returning the amount to your wallet. Only rewards can be withdrawn this way, not money you deposited, and rewards can't be transferred to another user. Referring yourself or accounts you control, including accounts that share your devices or internet connection, earns nothing. We may change or end the programme for future purchases, and may withhold or reverse rewards and suspend accounts involved in abuse.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in naira before you buy and may change at any time, for example when supplier costs or exchange rates move. The price you see when you confirm a purchase is the price you pay. If we show a price that is obviously wrong, we may cancel that order and refund it in full to your wallet.
5. Virtual numbers
- A virtual number lets you receive SMS verification codes for one service, for a limited time (normally 20 minutes). It is supplied by third-party telecom providers. You never own it, and it may be given to someone else afterwards. Do not use it for anything you need to keep, such as account recovery or long-term two-factor login.
- If no code arrives before the time runs out, the order is cancelled and its price returned to your wallet automatically. You can also cancel an order that has received no code once a short waiting period has passed (normally 2 minutes).
- Once a code is delivered, the order is complete and charged, even if the other platform later rejects or blocks the account.
- Other platforms decide for themselves whether to accept a number. We do not guarantee acceptance, delivery speed or that a number has never been used before.
- You must follow the terms of the platform you are verifying with. You are responsible for whether your use of a number is allowed there.
6. eSIMs
- An eSIM is a mobile data plan installed on a compatible phone by scanning a QR code or entering an activation code. Unless the product says otherwise, it provides data only, with no phone number for calls or SMS.
- Check before buying that your phone supports eSIM and is not locked to a single network. Coverage, speed and the networks used are provided by our eSIM supplier and its partner networks, and can vary by location.
- Each eSIM shows its coverage area, data allowance and validity period. Validity rules (for example, whether the period starts at installation or at first connection) are set by the network and shown where available. Unused data expires at the end of the validity period.
- Most eSIMs can be installed only once. Do not delete an installed eSIM while you still need it.
- Some eSIMs are issued instantly from our supplier and others are issued by our team. Either way, the activation details appear on your purchase page.
- You must follow the laws of the country where you use the eSIM, including any registration or identity requirements. We or our supplier may ask for identity details where that country requires them.
7. Scripts
- Scripts are ready-made automation tools that we set up for you. They work only with your SimBazaar account through your own API key.
- While your purchase is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the script for your own business. You may not resell, share, copy, decompile or modify it, or use it to automate actions on other platforms.
8. Tools and websites
- Tools and websites are built or set up by our team. The description on the product page sets out what is included. Anything else is a separate request that we may quote for.
- We will contact you after purchase to agree the details. Any timelines we give are good-faith estimates that depend on you providing what we ask for (content, logins, approvals) in reasonable time.
- You confirm you have the right to use any text, images, logos, trademarks and data you give us, and that your project is lawful. We may refuse or stop work on content that breaks the law or our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Ownership, one-time purchases: once you have paid in full, you own the content and the custom design we created specifically for you. We keep ownership of our own pre-existing code, templates, components and know-how, and grant you a permanent, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of your delivered website or tool.
- Subscriptions: for tools sold by subscription (for example hosting or care plans), you may use them while the subscription is active. When it ends, we may switch the service off. Where we hold your content, we will let you download it for at least 30 days after the end date.
- Domains, hosting, plugins, app stores and other third-party services are provided under their own terms and may have their own fees.
- We do not promise particular business results, such as sales, traffic or search rankings.
9. RMM seats
- An RMM seat gives you managed remote monitoring and management of devices through tools we operate. We need your full name, business and phone number before purchase.
- You may connect only devices that you own or are authorised in writing to manage. Where required by law, you must have told the device's users that the device is monitored. You are responsible for every device you connect.
- We may remove a device or suspend a seat immediately if we believe it is being used without authorisation, and may report unlawful access to the authorities.
10. Subscriptions and renewal
- Subscription products run for the period shown from the day they are set up. One-time products do not expire.
- Auto-renew is off unless you turn it on. If it is on and your wallet covers the price, we renew on the end date and charge your wallet. If the balance is short, the subscription ends and we may remind you beforehand. You can turn auto-renew off at any time; the current period still runs to its end.
11. API and reseller use
You may use our API to buy numbers for your own customers, provided you stay responsible for how they use them and pass on rules at least as strict as our Acceptable Use Policy. We may apply rate limits, and may change or suspend API access to protect the Service.
12. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must never use SimBazaar for fraud, impersonation, scams, spam, unauthorised access to accounts or devices, or anything else unlawful in Nigeria or wherever you use the Service.
13. Suspension and closure
- We may limit, suspend or close an account, cancel open orders, or hold a balance under review if we reasonably believe the account breaks these Terms or the law, puts other customers or our suppliers at risk, or is involved in fraud or chargebacks. Unusual patterns, such as very high cancellation rates, are flagged automatically.
- Where we can, and where the law allows, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Money that is not owed to us or tied to suspected unlawful activity will be dealt with as described in section 3.
- You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
- We must cooperate with lawful requests from Nigerian authorities, and may keep or disclose records as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Our responsibility to you
- We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Much of it depends on telecom networks, eSIM suppliers, payment partners and other platforms that we do not control, so we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by another platform refusing, blocking or closing an account; by your device, network or settings; by events beyond our reasonable control; or by your breach of these Terms.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, business or data.
- For any claim related to the Service, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim arose.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under Nigerian law. Nothing removes your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
15. Your responsibility to us
If you break these Terms or the law through the Service, and a third party makes a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs this causes us. This does not apply where the claim was caused by our own fault.
16. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change, add or withdraw products. We may update these Terms for legal, security or business reasons, and the date at the top will change when we do. For changes that significantly affect you, we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or in your account, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and close your account before the change takes effect.
17. Complaints and disputes
- Tell us first at support@simbazaar.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and to resolve them within 14 days.
- If we cannot resolve it, either of us may take the dispute to the courts of Lagos, Nigeria. You may also contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) or, about personal data, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
18. General
- If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your account or these Terms to someone else without our consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service, and your rights will not be reduced as a result.
- We may send notices to the email address on your account or show them in your account.
